The Encyclopaedia will forever be a work in
progress in that not only will it never reach a stage of perfect
completion, but it is also being developed in incremental stages:
-
the first stage, devoted to the identification of relevant theorists,
topics, and so on as well as the building of the relevant bibliographies and
links to online resources, is now largely complete;
-
the second
stage involves the construction of the various pages (please bear
with us as this takes time);
-
the third stage involves the
identification of experts in each of these areas and the writing of
entries -- during this stage, we will focus firstly on entries
devoted to the History of Theory, secondly on Theoretical Topics,
and thirdly on the various Regions in which Theory is explored;
-
the
fourth stage will be devoted to Postcolonial Theory; and
-
the fifth
stage will focus on Feminist Theory.
